IBFD Tax Research Platform

IBFD Tax Research Platform is a portal of the International Bureau for Fiscal Documentation that provides access to a comprehensive compendium of international and country-specific tax materials, searchable by format, topic, or country. 

Jurisprudence Collection

The Online Jurisprudence Collection contains all the rulings and opinions of the Supreme Court of Justice, the European Court of Appeal and the Courts of the European Union, published in the Journal since 1993. All contents are carefully selected and analyzed by Judges, and Counselors of the Editorial Board of the Jurisprudence Collection.

Kluwer Law Online is a database of scientific law journals.

Legix

Legix is the market leader of juridical databases and used by the largest law firms in Portugal. With the same search engine is possible to find Diário da República, JORAA, JORAM, IGFEJ, European Comission document database, among others.

The access to this database is a result of a protocol between Priberam and Universidade Católica Portuguesa. To access the available resources, users will first have to register, using the institutional email (xxx@ucp .pt).

LexisNexis Academic

LexisNexis Academic provides access to full-text news, deals, and legal publications. The outstanding news coverage includes deep archives and up-to-the-minute stories in national and regional newspapers, wire services, broadcast transcripts, international news, and non-English language sources.

OpenDissertations

OpenDissertations is an open-access database built to assist researchers in locating both historic and contemporary dissertations and theses. Created with the generous support of the H.W. Wilson Foundation and the Congregational Library & Archives in Boston, it incorporates EBSCO’s previously released American Doctoral Dissertations, and features additional dissertation metadata contributed by select colleges and universities from around the world. Providing researchers with citations to graduate research across a span of time, from the early 20th century to the present, this database will continue to grow through regular updates and new partnerships with graduate degree-granting institutions.

ScienceDirect is a multidisciplinary website that provide access to Elsevier publications. Search for peer-reviewed journals, articles, books and book chapters.

Scopus is a metadata and citations database of peer-reviewed publications, such as scientific journals, books and conference proceedings. It provides a comprehensive view of international scientific production in the areas of technology, medicine, social sciences or arts and humanities. Scopus features tools such as advanced search, analysis and results visualization. Through the citation index it is possible to analyze the number of citations of publications or authors.

Statewatch: monitoring the state and civil liberties in the European Union

Statewatch is a non-profit voluntary group founded in 1991 to monitor the development of the EU State and civil liberties. It is formed by lawyers, academics, journalists, researchers and community activists. Its European network of contributors embraces 18 countries. Statewatch encourages the publication of investigative journalism and critical research in Europe in fields like the state, justice and home affairs, civil liberties, accountability and openness.
