International Internships

Mão a segurar Globo com fundo de Céu Azul

The Erasmus+ Programme provides for undertaking mobility for internships whether at universities or other entities participating in the Programme. Students may submit their applications through their respective academic units.

Internships under the auspices of the Erasmus+ Programme also receive financing from the European Commission and students are to correspondingly apply for support grants with their amounts differing from study mobility grants.

There are three options of traineeship: curricular, extra-curricular, and for recent-graduates.

Note: To benefit from the financial support available for carrying out professional internships internationally, students have to be either regularly registered for the respective academic year of application or having graduated no more than one year ago.

Atlantic Erasmus Training Consortium (AETC)

The AETC Consortium was launched in 2012 and is made up of three higher education institutions: Universidade Católica Portuguesa (UCP), the University of the Algarve (UAlg) and the Estoril Higher Institute for Tourism and Hotel Studies (ESHTE).

The core objective here is to provide students and recent graduates with a diversified range of curricular and extracurricular internships that enable a real experience of working in professional, multicultural and international contexts in the European Union.
