The Project Training for Resilience is structured in four Knowledge Academies in:

 

Health Sciences and Technologies

Católica intends to play a role in the resilience plan in the coming years, using its skills and knowledge to carry out the training and specialisation of health professionals and related areas. It is expected that Universidade Católica will increase capacity and resources in order to allow a significant increase in the number of students in the existing courses in these fields and the creation of innovative courses, suitable for the qualification and requalification of professionals who can contribute to a more resilient health system in Portugal.

Management

Católica's mission is to develop professionals for a sustainable society and advance knowledge in management, finance and economics, through cooperation with businesses, impactful innovation and the adoption of a global mindset.

Arts, Humanities and Creative Industries

Following a collaborative approach that brings together academic excellence and professional commitment and provides for a strong partnership between non-academic and academic institutions, the courses allow for up-to-date training in a sector whose importance to the labour market has been steadily growing since the early 2000s. Negotiating cultural forms of constructing meaning, social belonging and guidance, changing routines and practices, acquiring new tools and skills are indispensable ingredients for successful recovery and resilience.
 

Governance and Public Administration

It is crucial to invest in capacity building and training of young and top leaders, from schools to courts, from public bodies, local elected officials and local authority leaders to European and international advisors to respond to the needs.
