Christmas Solidarity Campaign - Porto

Collection of goods to build baskets for families supported by Cáritas Diocesana do Porto. Each Service/Academic Unit will be challenged to build a specific basket for a family;
"Latada de Natal" - Collection of cans of food by the Student Associations to support Casa Mãe Clara.
 

About the recipients of this action:

Casa da Mãe Clara is a social project of Casa de Saúde da Boavista that provides daily assistance to 150 people in need through a full meal, healthcare, clothing and other basic necessities. Daily, it serves more than 150 lunches to homeless people and families in the city.

The support with some food items, such as pasta, beans, tuna and sausages, is essential to ensure that there is always food for another meal.

Universidade Católica Portuguesa is once again joining the Food Bank Against Hunger Collection Campaign. On December 1st, 2nd and 3rd, volunteers will be at Continente Bom dia supermarkets in Cufra and Froiz supermarkets in Bom Sucesso collecting food to support Portuguese families in need.

Solidarity Market in the main atrium of the University to sell products made by CASO's partner institutions.

Bingo game between the UCP community and users of the institutions Somos Nós and APPACDM - Porto and Christmas Sale with products from both institutions.

"Hands in the soil: for a more sustainable campus" is a voluntary activity for the internal community related to the control of invasive plants and the planting of native species.
