Católica is the best University in Portugal by Times Higher Education, for the 2nd consecutive year

Times Higher Education – THE recognizes the Universidade Católica Portuguesa (UCP) as the #1 University in Portugal, for the 2nd consecutive year, among the 12 national institutions of Higher Education that integrate the 2021 edition of Times Higher Education World University Rankings (THE WUR2021).

In the most recent edition of the ranking, UCP maintained its national leadership position, being ranked in the first quartile of the world ranking (position 351-400).

THE World University Ranking is a prestigious international ranking that covers the main areas of expertise of a university, evaluating 13 performance indicators, grouped into five areas: Teaching, Research, Citations, International Outlook and Industry Income.

The Times Higher Education World University Rankings is composed by the 1527 most reputable institutions of Higher Education worldwide, such as Harvard University, Oxford University and Imperial College London, among others.

Since 2010, the Times Higher Education World University Rankings has been held in partnership with Thompson Reuters, world leader in information and technology.
